We went to Life South which is the main blood collecting HQ. There we saw one of their common donors and the tour guide also explained how they get to find out what blood type you are so rapidly. Essentially they put it in a solution of if the solution blood clots that's your blood type between A, B, AB, and O. We also got to see behind the scenes with all the machines working keeping the blood usable and other things that I really didn't understand. What I loved most about it though was their work environment to me it seemed like they were all friends with a common goal.
