On day three of Forensics week, we were confronted with a crime of passion or suicide? That’s the part that’s up to us to decide. It started out when we found Mr. Nease my old Honor’s U.S. history teacher outside his house in shock because of his dead wife outside. We began by questioning Mr. Nease but after simply stating that he was just trying to save her he began to ask for an attorney. Notably, he was holding a bloody rag in his hand, but since he wasn’t talking we all naively went into the house. Inside the house was Mrs. Nease's body, there was blood splatter on the walls and what I believe to be a soft contact wound on the wife’s head. At this point, we all started to assume that Mr. Nease murdered his wife. We head back outside to question him only to find he was gone!? This only contributed to our suspicions more, we did take his and his wife's phone in as evidence though; however, the bullet used was lost and the gun only had one round loaded. With evidence on both sides, we leave baffled at the fleeing of Nease and confused about which side to take.
