Childhood Obesity

This was more of a lecture day which was headed by 3 kids from Spring Hill College. We watched a ted talk where the speaker was Jamie Oliver and he was speaking about childhood obesity. He talked about how parents unknowingly are killing their children through what they feed them. We learned obesity is the number one killer in the U.S today with disadvantaged groups being more affected then privileged groups, for example obesity Hispanic groups are more at risk to obesity then white groups. Then they gave us candy at the end which felt counter productive but funny at the same time.
